New Feature: Cloud Cost Adjustments

New feature alert! Cloudthread is launching Cloud Cost Adjustments. Now you can easily adjust what kind of costs you see on the platform:

• Public or actual;
• With or without taxes, credits, fees, discounts;
• With or without Reserved Instances or Savings Plans amortization;
• Fully loaded or isolated for a specific use case.

We have many scenarios precalculated for you so you can decide what numbers to see and report to your stakeholders.

AWS cloud costs can be notoriously complex to get right due to the large number of dynamic parts they consist of and various scenarios they used in. Taxes, credits, discounts, and upfront fees can be included or excluded depending on the use case. Public costs can sometimes be reported to abstract stakeholders from unnecessary distractions and get them focused on essential matters. In other cases, teams need to have costs reported based on the strict chargeback rules with discounts and credits taken into account.

Cloudthread platform can now accommodate most common situations with Cost Adjustment functionality. We have many scenarios precalculated for you so you can decide what numbers to see and report to your stakeholders. Open the dropdown menu at the top of the screen and choose the appropriate setting.
