Create a Jira ticket from a Thread of cost saving opportunities and get cost savings into Engineering sprint planning. Associate the ticket to an owner, Project, and Issue Type.
Cloudthread is launching a Jira Integration to make it easy to incorporate Threads of savings opportunities into engineering sprint planning.
Sometimes the difference between a recommendation and action is embedding into the appropriate workflows. Especially when a savings opportunity requires significant engineering effort.
Support for both Jira Cloud and Jira Server
1) Do you support both Jira Cloud and Jira Server?
Yes.
2) What’s the relationship between a Thread status and Jira ticket status?
Currently, they’re independent. Thread statuses can be changed through hyperlinks available in the Jira ticket (e.g. Reject or Approve).
3) What Jira ticket values do you determine?
Project, Issue Type, and Assignee.
4) Does the Assignee need to be a user of Cloudthread?
No, the Assignee references users defined in Jira and doesn’t need to be a validated Cloudthread user.
